Beyond the Comfort Zone: Renell Yu’s Alberta Ballet School Short Term Scholarship Journey 🇨🇦
So honored that Renell Yu received a scholarship invitation from the Alberta Ballet School in Canada  to kick off a week-long short-term training journey! Once again, the mother-daughter duo is stepping out of our comfort zone. For daughter, it means dancing at a brand-new school; for mama, it means driving in a whole new country!
The Alberta Ballet School is one of the few elite artistic institutions in North America that perfectly combines intensive professional ballet training with a comprehensive academic education.On her very first day, Renell was warmly welcomed by sweet classmates from all over the world:
"What's your name?"
"You're from California? My uncle lives in San Diego!"
"You can use my stretching band!"
The teachers were incredibly thoughtful and had everything beautifully organized. Renell even had a proud moment during day one's nutrition class—so much of the material lined up perfectly with what she had already learned this summer at our Buddy Club in Yu Xin Ballet School!
