AMERICAN BALLET THEATER NATIONAL TRAINING CURRICULUM
Yu Xin Ballet School is proud to include the American Ballet Theater National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8-level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basic of dancer health and child development.
The ABT National Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through level 7 will be taught by ABT former profession and ABT Certified Teacher Yu Xin.
Pre-Ballet
Small children learn movements to music. They learn to follow basic directions for moving their bodies in a defined space.
Ballet 2B
Ballet 1B
Early school age children learn proper posture, physical coordination, and basic ballet positions, and develop poise and self-condfidence.
Ballet 3A
Older Children improve their flexibility and ballet posture, learn more complex technique and musicality and learn the team work involved in dancing with a group.
Ballet 3C
More advanced dancers build on all the previous stages to clarify and polish head, arm, leg, and foot positions while dancing to music.
